Executive Director Ted Bongiovanni's report was titled "Tending and Gathering." The NYQM budget for 2026 was presented and approved; the presentation is here and the full budget is here. A brief, official "meeting of the corporation" was held to note the approval of a new Trustee.

Friends Seminary reported that students and staff are increasingly focused on the Quaker beliefs that form the foundation of the school. The NYQM Education Fund Committee asked that the pool of students that they grant funds to begin to include those applying to Mary McDowell Friends School; this request was approved. The Witness Fund Committee reported; applications to this fund will next be accepted in January. The Handbook Committee is developing a survey for quarterly meeting committee members and Friends on possible Handbook changes and priorities.

A concern was raised and discussed about the correct process regarding the use of our spaces and decisions made by the quarter vs. the local meetings. This conversation will continue. Another concern was raised about how our investments may conflict with our Quaker beliefs. Find more details on these concerns in the minutes.
