The Sun Day event in New York City on Sunday, September 21 will be an afternoon of entertainment, speakers, and family-friendly activities focused on the power of the sun and sustainable energy.
What is Sun Day? Sun Day is a global day of action celebrating the rise of clean energy. We’ll come together to showcase the power of the sun and wind, the energy sources that can power our world without pollution. We'll have activities inside and on the grounds of the Fifteenth Street Meetinghouse and in the adjacent Stuyvesant Square Park. Full schedule is here.
Our event will feature information booths and tables, kids' activities, a performance by Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir, and a panel discussion with Bill McKibben and others, moderated by WNYC radio/podcast host Kai Wright. Space is limited for the panel, so get free tickets here.
