Jesus began a radical movement rooted in compassion, nonviolence, and resistance to empire. Today, many experience a deep dissonance between those teachings and the ways Christianity has become entangled with nationalism, violence, and state power.

This gathering invites honest reflection on that divide and explores how faithful, courageous, and collective organizing might take shape in this moment of moral urgency. We’ll hear from grassroots Christian peace and justice groups, share discernment in small groups, and consider proposals for a renewed movement grounded in the radical roots of Jesus’s message.
