Spring Work Day at Friends Cemetery

Spend time outside in nature and help the Friends Cemetery in Prospect Park get ready for spring with some raking, weeding, and other clean-up tasks

Friends from around NYC will join students and families from the Friends schools in Brooklyn, NY (Brooklyn Friends School and Mary McDowell Friends School) at the Quaker cemetery in the middle of Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Work may include raking leaves, weeding, planting, and other clean-up tasks. Be sure to bring clothing that guards you from the elements and critters, eg, hats, long sleeves/pants, and work gloves. Wear sunscreen, bug repellent and stay hydrated. Enjoy nature and build community with friends.
