Quakerism 101 — Second Sundays at 1 PM, Brooklyn Meeting House
Please join a monthly discussion about Quakerism in the Brooklyn meetinghouse and via Zoom. There will be ten sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of our faith, practice and history, with different facilitators. They will be held on second Sundays at 1 pm in the meeting room. The series will be geared toward people who are somewhat new to Quakerism, but open to all. Topics will include Quaker worship and ministry, history, varieties of belief, living life in the spirit, social witness, Quaker practices, Quakerism and the Bible, and the future of Quakerism. All sessions will be interactive and many of them will have some short readings to be prepared in advance. It's a great opportunity to learn about Quakerism and to deepen our connections with each other.
