Quaker author and climate activist Eileen Flanagan is speaking about her new book Common Ground: How the Crisis of the Earth is Saving Us from Our Illusion of Separation. at the Community Book Store, 143 7th Ave, Brooklyn, on Tuesday, October 7 at 7 p.m. The book shares timely spiritual and strategic lessons from diverse parts of the climate movement, as well as Eileen’s own experience as a leader of Earth Quaker Action Team. These lessons turns out to be exactly what we need right now to resist authoritarianism. In a time of division and discouragement, Eileen's book provides hope and a way forward.
