Join the 15th Street Friends Meeting on Sunday, September 6th for “Peace Activists Resist 25 Years of the 9/11 Wars,” a public forum marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11, featuring Dennis Kucinich and hosted by Sander Hicks.

Dennis Kucinich's decades-long record of resisting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan has made him one of the progressive movement's leading voices for peace. At the September 6 event, Kucinich will call for a new Congressional investigation into 9/11, examining how U.S. and Israeli officials coordinated talking points that falsely linked Iraq to the attacks — a fabrication that helped set in motion a war that killed a million Iraqis and 5,000 U.S. troops, and cost trillions of dollars, with no accountability to date.

The event is hosted by author, journalist, and activist Sander Hicks, and convened under the care of the Speaker Events Committee at Fifteenth Street Friends Meeting, one of New York City's oldest Quaker houses of worship.
