March with Quakers at NYC Pride
Quakers have marched in NYC Pride every year since the beginning (1970). Join us this year on Sunday, June 29.
UPDATE: Quakers will begin to gather at our formation location at 2:00 pm. In order to enter the formation area you must pick up a wristband from Erin Hughes, who will be waiting at the Northeast corner of East 27th St and Madison Ave. between 2:00 - 2:30 pm. Erin has black hair and will be wearing an orange t-shirt.
Join Friends at Fifteenth Street Meeting or Brooklyn Meeting BEFORE the march (at the rise of meeting for worship, around 12:15 pm) for poster-making and pizza - see here for more details.
Please RSVP to get on the WhatsApp group that will be created on the morning of the march.
New York City Quakers have marched in the NYC Pride March for every year of its existence and have a history of supporting LGBTQ+ rights. NYC Quakers have registered a spot in the massive NYC Pride March happening this June 29. We'll have stickers to hand out during the parade and a car to carry supplies and tired people.
