Friendly Writing Collective

We're excited to announce the first workshop of the Friendly Writing Collective, a new initiative to support Friends across New York Quarterly Meeting in their writing goals and build community through the written word! The first workshop will be held on Sunday, February 8th at 1:00 pm at Morningside Meeting, Riverside Church (enter at 91 Claremont Ave.), 13th Floor, NY, NY. Friends are warmly invited to join Morningside Meeting for worship beforehand at 11:00 am on the 12th floor.

Whether you're interested in publishing essays, creating zines, writing about Quaker life, or simply developing a more sustained writing practice, this workshop is for you! We'll explore public-facing writing, share resources for publication, and begin building structures for ongoing accountability and support. All writing levels and interests are welcome!
