Free Film Screening and Q&A: The Alabama Solution and In Exchange for Flesh

Saturday, June 13 at 6:30 pm, Brooklyn Meetinghouse, 110 Schermerhorn St

Join us for an evening of documentary film and conversation. We'll screen In Exchange for Flesh, a short documentary co-directed by NYYM Friend Corey Devon Arthur and Sandro Ramani that exposes the horrors of the strip-frisk policy inside New York State prisons. This will be followed by a screening of The Alabama Solution, a six-year investigation into one of the nation's deadliest prison systems. It features footage shot on contraband cell phones and uncovers a story of brutality, corruption, and resistance. Directors from both films will join us for a Q&A after the screening.
