Fall Work Day at the Cemetery

Name: NYC Quakers
Price range: $

Help with a fall clean up at the Friends Cemetery inside Prospect Park, Brooklyn

Back to Events

Join us for the Fall Work Day at the Quaker Cemetery in Prospect Park!

This is the last chance this year to spend time on the grounds, and all hands are welcome. Volunteers will spend the day raking leaves, clearing paths, and getting the cemetery ready for winter. Rakes, tools, and work gloves will be on hand, or bring your own. Stay for an hour or the whole day, and feel free to bring a friend. Come lend a hand, enjoy the autumn air, and help keep this sacred green space beautiful for all who visit. It's a lovely way to spend a November Saturday outdoors with Friends!
