Ecumenical and Interfaith Advocacy Days 2026

Join others from the New York State Council of Churches for interfaith advocacy days in Albany, NY. Learn from experts and visit with lawmakers.

NYSCOC Advocacy Days Feb 23 24 2026

February 23, 3:00 pm to February 24, 5:00 pm in Albany, NY

Join us in Albany to learn from each other and experts and then to visit with law makers to discuss our concerns and policy asks.

The NY State Council of Churches will host Ecumenical and Interfaith Advocacy Days, February 23 and 24 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Albany and the NY State Capital.

On Monday afternoon we will worship together and participate in a workshop, “What to Do When ICE Comes to Your Church,” followed by a light supper. The Tuesday morning schedule will include briefings on policy issues affecting immigration, housing, environmental justice, healthcare, economic justice and criminal justice reform. In the afternoon participants will visit their elected officials to share their concerns.

This is an opportunity for people of faith to engage in the public dialogue about how as a society we distribute resources, promote the common good, protect the most vulnerable among us, advance justice, and care for and help restore God’s creation.

The registration fee for Advocacy Days is $35, but no one will be turned away! To lend your financial assistance, please consider making an additional contribution.
