Downtown Outdoor Meeting for Worship

The Downtown Outdoor Meeting meets  every Thursday at the Battery Park Labyrinth, May 7 until Thursday September 24, 2026. All are welcome. Questions? Call Sally at 212 787-3903.

Update as of June 2, 2026: One can now get into the park at Little West Street and Battery Place. There are 9 stairs to traverse but if you want to use the #1 train I think it is a little closer. 

The other big change is that the wall that had been surrounding the labyrinth has come down so we can see the Statue of Liberty, the sailboats and even better people passing by can see the labyrinth. 

Directions to the Labyrinth: The next closest access to the Labyrinth is along State Street by the 4/5 train entrance. Walk down the main path towards Castle Clinton. The Woodland and Urban Farm are on your left. At the end of the path walk to the right, past the front of Castle Clinton and over to the Labyrinth. This video from 2025, showing the walk from the 4/5 Bowling Green subway stop to the Labyrinth, is still accurate.
