For June 1: "The Blessed Community," A Testament of Devotion

In a year focused on spiritual transformation, we will be reading from the enduring classic A Testament of Devotion by Thomas R. Kelly. Friend Kelly's work, written toward the end of his life, is clear, simple, and deeply inspirational.  For June, we'll talk about "The Blessed Community."  Kelly teaches us how deep devotion to God will change "our new and particular relation" to our fellows, strengthening our ability to see "in the X-ray light of Eternity," leveling cultural, racial, educational and national differences, forming a network of Love. 

You are welcome to join us even if you haven't attended any other sessions. We'll be in the Social Hour Room at Brooklyn and on Zoom.

Everyone is welcome to join Friends at the Concern for Quaker Living Book Club. Spiritual Transformation is our theme for Sept. 2025-June 2026. We'll be meeting the first Monday of the month at 6:00 pm through June 2026, unless otherwise announced. Meetings will take place at Brooklyn Meetinghouse (110 Schermerhorn, Brooklyn NY) and over Zoom.
