Breaking the Cycle of Violence in Gaza: Quakers and Activists Resist Genocide

Friends are invited into a powerful conversation on Gaza and the urgent need for nonviolent resistance. Speakers include Palestinian American activist Linda Sarsour, writer and political commentator Sam Husseini, Israeli-American ex-settler and conscientious objector Aharon Dardik, and peace activist Sander Hicks, with live music by songwriter David Rovics. Framed by a Quaker commitment to dialogue and nonviolence, the event invites Friends and neighbors to reflect on how a radical reshaping of power dynamics in the Middle East is essential to breaking the cycle of violence and hate.

A complimentary light lunch will be served at 12:30. Admission is free; registration is requested. This event is Sponsored by the Fifteenth Street Speaker Events Committee
