New York Quarterly Meeting Friends met at Fifteenth St. Meeting on Saturday, April 19, 2025, for meeting for worship with a concern for business. The gathered Friends heard reports from the NYQM Executive Director, the Witness Fund Committee, and the Nominating Committee. NYQM Trustees reported that the quarter's finances are sound, and a recent annual audit came back clean. Monthly meetings reported on their past three months. In general, meetings are seeing an increase in attendance at worship.
This meeting marked the last clerked by Katherine Alford of Morningside Meeting; Scott Blumenthal, also from Morningside, is the next NYQM clerk. Glenn Josey, clerk of NYQM Trustees, has also stepped down, replaced by Dan Seeger. Much love and gratitude was expressed to both Katherine and Glenn for their dedicated work and careful guidance.
