Jess Hobbs Pifer Joins New York Quarterly Meeting as Interim Community Organizer
Jess Hobbs Pifer has joined the New York Quarterly staff as Interim Community Organizer while nova sturrup is on leave. Jess is a member of Germantown Monthly Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, where she grew up. She moved to New York in August 2020, and has been regularly attending Brooklyn Monthly Meeting since 2022. She studied Religion in college and has worked in outreach to faith communities and faith leaders for the Council on Foreign Relations. Most recently, she helped organize and facilitate the Quaker Walk to Washington. In her free time, Jess enjoys running and oil painting. Welcome, Jess!
