The New Sanctuary Coalition has been meeting in Brooklyn Meetinghouse on Thursday evenings for several months. Several Quakers are involved with the group, witnessing and accompanying migrants (friends) at immigration hearings, or supporting that work with database and communications help. This July 25 New Yorker article focuses on a specific friend attending a court hearing and includes some interactions with New Sanctuary volunteers.
