Max Goodman is running a Climate Café in Brooklyn Meeting’s community room on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 6-8 pm.
6-7 will be a worship sharing of climate-linked emotions
7-8 will be an open folk music jam focusing on justice movement songs
Come resonate with your community in the beautiful Brooklyn Quaker Meeting House.
Evening starts with a facilitated discussion of climate-linked emotions, followed by a musical jam session. We run in a bluegrass style – everyone brings a couple songs they could lead. When its your turn, you sing the verses and ‘kick’ solos out to other instrumentalists. For more information on what a climate cafe is, check out our website at climatecafe.eco.
Refreshments provided. Please rsvp so we have a headcount: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/climate-cafe-folk-jam-registration-1126457808629?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
