You’re invited!
Dear Amy,
I want to invite you to an extraordinary performance at 8 p.m. on June 8 at Carnegie Hall that will benefit the American Friends Service Committee. Buy your tickets today!
The Japanese Roppongi Male Chorus Zig-Zag will perform “The Last Message,” a collection of songs taken from the last letters and notes by soldiers and other victims from twelve countries who lost their lives in World War II. The music is testimony to the endurance of love and humanity in times of war as well as an appeal for world peace.
The choir has performed in concert halls around the world from Vienna and the Vatican to Paris and Havana. The choir has made tickets available to the AFSC. Tickets for the concert are $50 and will benefit AFSC’s Peace and Economic Security Program.
Join AFSC for a night at Carnegie Hall.
Hope to see you there,
Joseph Gerson
